Michael Angarano
American actor (born )
Michael Anthony Angarano (born December 3, ) is an American actor. He became known for his roles in the film Music of the Heart () and the television series Cover Me (–), as well as for playing a recurring role as Elliott in the sitcom Will & Grace. Since then he has starred in a number of films including Sky High (), The Forbidden Kingdom (), Gentlemen Broncos (), Haywire (), The English Teacher (), Sun Dogs (), and Oppenheimer (). He has also appeared in the television series I'm Dying Up Here (–) and This Is Us. The latter earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination as an Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in

[edit]Angarano was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York,[1] to Michael and Doreen Angarano; he has two sisters and a younger brother.[2] He is of Italian descent.[3]

Biography and career[]
Michael Angarano was born in Brooklyn, New York. His family owns and operates three successful dance studios; two in New York (Brooklyn and Staten Island) and one in California (Los Angeles) called Reflections in Dance. Angarano graduated from Crespi Carmelite High School in
Acting since he was a child, Angarano has appeared in shows like Cover Me: Based on the True Life of an FBI Family, ER (with Paul McCrane), and Will & Grace. In the late 90's, Angarano was one of three finalists to play the role of the young Anakin Sywalker in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, which eventually went to Jake Lloyd. Most recently, he has been a regular in Steven Soderbergh's TV drama The Knick.
Angarano has also appeared in films like Music of the Heart, Almost Famous (with Pauley Perrette), Seabiscuit (with Michael O'Neill), Sky High, One
