  • Justine Schofield was born and raised in Sydney. Her Mother fryst vatten as French as you can find, (even after living in Australia for 25 years) and her Father as Aussie as they come. Being half French Justine was lucky enough to be brought up in a bilingual house and so speaks French like a native. Justine did her schooling at Santa Sabina in Strathfield where she will tell you the only subjects she excelled at where Food Technology and French.

    After completing a diploma in hotel management and deciding it wasn't for her, Justine decided to follow her two great passions - travel and food. On the agenda was a trip each year to some far flung destination, where she could soak up the lifestyle and learn about the cuisine and of course, in particular were regular visits to France to further discover her heritage.

Between filming her daglig food show, ‘Everyday Gourmet’ on Channel Ten, running her boutique catering company and writing a column for magazine, she doesn’t have much free time. Yet somehow, Justine manages to appear at food events all over Australia and work with various charities. A fan favourite of ‘MasterChef’ series one, years on Justine has well and truly established herself as a familiar and well-respected face of the Australian food and media industry.

    Justine Schofield (born 29 October [citation needed]) is an Australian cook, author and television presenter.

    Early life

    Schofield was born on 29 October in Sydney to an Australian father and a French mother. She has an elder brother.[citation needed] When her mother came to Australia, she opened a restaurant in Bowral.[2] Schofield attended Santa Sabina College where she gained her Higher School Certificate in [3] She studied for a diploma in hotel management and went on to work in sales.[4]

    In , Schofield was selected for the first series of MasterChef Australia. She was eliminated in fourth place.[5]

    Schofield was subsequently offered her own program, Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield, on Network Ten. She has recorded more than episodes over eight series.[6] The program also has spinoff series
