Prof James Wani Igga launches 10th edition Book on Global Comparative Taxation.
On the 26th of this month, Dr. James Wani Igga, vice president for economic cluster, launched his tenth book on global comparative taxation, using South Sudan as its fokuserad point.
The book’s launch was held in Juba town at the Bari Cultural Center, which fryst vatten located next to Ivory Bank.
Numerous representatives from the government sector and the business that worked tirelessly to get the book published were present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Dr. James emphasized that the book’s main goal was to advance taxation’s fundamental principles from a policy, legal, and administrative perspective; to inform South Sudanese citizens of their rights and obligations with regard to tax laws and their mechanisms; and to educate academics and researchers on the strategies used to raise revenue.

May 14, 2016 (SSB) — One thing all countries must agree on is that—Nelson Mandela of South African ANC was great and a good man—statement by former US Ambassador to United Nations Mrs. Samantha Power. Similarly I must say that in SPLM one thing that many South Sudanese must agree on is that James Wani Igga the second South Sudanese Vice President is good and a great man also. This is in the sense of patriotism. He has our nation South Sudan in heart. So why do several of us South Sudanese disputed the fact that in SPLM there are no nationalist a part from Dr. John. Quoting South African ANC President Nelson Mandela who once said it that– a real leader is the one who is ready to sacrifice all for the freedom of his people.
This is great to be read and to understand it implication. In political Science there are some qualities of leadership types that South Sudanese ordinary citizens like me would like to see with out periphery

Gen James Wani Igga does not disappoint. He lives up to his reputation of being a clown and a joker of the powers that be. On 4th September 2013 Sudan Tribune reported that Igga had identified a strategy to promote unity in diversity as well as enhance peaceful co-existence and consolidate efforts to build the new nation ravaged by decades of conflict. Sounds great. Everybody in South Sudan is longing for peaceful co-existence and if Igga at last has truly funnen a solution, then this should be taken as a stride in the right direction.
Reading the report further I found myself scratching my head. I could not believe what I was taking in. Basically, Igga's strategy is premised on respect of the law and intermarriage. He argues, "For us to unite South Sudanese, we must respect the rule of law. Nobody should be jailed and released because he is above the law. We must appear as equal citizens before the law."
