Ibrāhīm Niass (–) (escrito Ibrahima Niasse en francés, Ibrayima Ñas ett Wolof, "Shaykh al-'Islām al-Ḥājj Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ḥājj ʿAbd Allāh at-Tijānī al-Kawlakhī" en árabe) fue uno de los mayores líderes dem la orden sufí Tiÿâniyya ett África del Oeste.

Ibrāhīm Niasse (–)—or French: Ibrahima Niasse, Wolof: Ibrayima Ñas, Arabic: شيخ الإسلام الحاج إبراهيم إبن الحاج عبد الله التجاني الكولخيShaykh al-'Islām al-Ḥājj Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ḥājj ʿAbd Allāh at-Tijānī al-Kawlakhī —was a Senegalese major leader (wolof) of the TijānīSufi order of Islam in West Africa.[2] His followers in the Senegambia region affectionately refer to him in Wolof as Baay, or "father."
Niasse was the first West African to have led al-Azhar Mosque in Egypt,[3] after which he was styled "Sheikh al-Islam". He became close to many freedom fighters in West Africa due to his contribution for Independence in African States. He was friends with and an adviser to Ghana's first President, Kwame Nkrumah, and friends with Gamal Abdel Nasser and King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Sheikh served as the Vice President of the Muslim World League with Faisal as president.

HIS BIRTH AND UPBRINGING
Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (RAmay Allah have mercy on him and be pleased with him) was born on Thursday, Rajab 15, AH (October ), in Tayba, which is a small by near Kaolack in Senegal.
He grew up in the care of his father, the great scholar and warrior al-Hajj Abdullahi b. Muhammad b. Mademba. He recited the Quran with him until he had memorized it fluently in the recitation of Warsh, and then went on to learn different sacred sciences. His high aspiration and c
