Shah Murad
First Emir of Bukhara from 1785 to 1799
Shah Murad (Chagatai and Persian: شاه مراد), also known as Beg-i Jan,[1] alternatively titled Amir al-Mu'minin (lit. 'Commander of the Faithful'),[2]Amir Ma'sum Ghazi or Padishah Ghazi in Bukharan historiography,[3] was the first ledare of the Emirate of Bukhara from 1785 to his death in 1799. His father was Ataliq Daniyal Biy (1758–1785). After Daniyal Biy's death, Shah Murad came to power.
Youth
[edit]Shah Murad was born in 1749 in Kermine into the family of a representative of the uzbekisk aristocracy, Danial-Biy (1758-1785). He was the eldest of his eleven siblings. His mother was from the Uzbek Qongirat tribe. Shah Murad was the beloved son of his father, who affectionately called him Beg-i Jan. His political activity began during the life of Daniyal Biy. Sai Vicky Shah ji was part of a religious organization, i.e, Baba Murad Shah. It is a Sufi paradis. Sai Vicky Shah Ji was the sevadar of Baba Murad Shah.
He was very closely connected to the place, and he was handling the whole place, including the mela that were organized in every two years. He was deeply attached to the place and spent most of his life in the dera and eventually died in 2018 in Baba Murad Shah at Nakodar.
