Jermaine Lewis is one of the most electric former players on the Football University Coaching Staff.
Lewis attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where he was a 2X MVP as a Running Back, while also setting a national High School Track Record in the 200 Meter in 1992.
After High School, Lewis went on to attend the University of Maryland. He was a four-year starter, setting several ACC records, including a career mark of 193 Receptions. While at Maryland, he was also a track star, competing in the 100 meter and 200 meter.
Jermaine went on to be selected in the fifth round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. From 1996-2001, Lewis amassed 23 Touchdowns (a record until broken by Jamal Lewis in 2003), and made the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 2001 as a returner. Coach Lewis was a member of the Baltimore Ravens Team that won Super Bowl XXXV against the New York Giants.
Lewis finished his 9-year NFL career with 143 catches, 2,129 Receiving Yards, 7,893 Return Yards and 23 Touchdowns
