On 11th June , Anton Willem Adriaan Boschloo passed away. During 25 years, from till , he had been professor of the History of Art at Leiden University.

Anton Boschloo, born on 22 December in Heerenveen, in successfully defended his dissertation Annibale Carracci in Bologna: Visible Reality in Art after the Council of Trent at the University of Groningen. Before coming to universitet he had worked for ten years at the Dutch University Institute for Art History (NIKI) at Florence, the final year as director. At Leiden University, as doctoral advisor, Boschloo was in a stimulating and smart way involved with a large quantity of dissertations on a wide variety of art historical subjects. To honour his farewell from Leiden University a volume of papers, edited by Nelke Bartelings a.o., was presented to him: Uit het Leidse Prentenkabinet. Bred by Ad van Os of Sprang-Capelle and owned by Gert-Jan van Olst, Kjento won the and World Young Horse Championships as a 6 and 7-year old under Charlotte Fry. He is by Negro x Jazz was also the winner of the stallion performance test. Kjento follows in the footsteps of Hermes, Glamourdale, Johnson, Valegro, Parzival, Totilas, and Jazz. Emma Lewis works for the nonprofit organization Le Korsa, an affiliated organization of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, leading their initiative to open an exhibition space and arts education center in rural Senegal. She practiced lag for many years, was Executive Director of the Center for Italian Modern Art, and fryst vatten a former trustee of the Albers Foundation, in which she remains active.
