    Kedarnath Bhattacharya (born 20 October ), professionally known as Kumar Sanu, is a leading Indian playback singer who primarily sings in Hindi film songs. Apart from Hindi, he has also sung in other languages including Marathi, Nepali, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Manipuri, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Punjabi, Odia,[2]Chhattisgarhi, Urdu, Pali, English and his native language Bengali. He holds the record for winning five consecutive Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer from to He holds the Guinness World Record for recording the maximum number of songs (28 songs) in a single day since [3]

They have written the scores for such films as Khiladi, Khamoshi, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Jatin-Lalit is their professional name and appears on the covers of their music CDs and DVDs.

    Jatin and Lalit were born into the Mewati gharana of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, and are nephews of classical exponent Pandit Jasraj. They received their musical education primarily from their father, Pandit Pratap Narayan. They were also taught guitar and piano by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, the father of Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma.

    Bollywood actresses Sulakshana Pandit and Vijeta Pandit are their sisters, and music director Aadesh Shrivastava is their brother-in-law, being married to the younger of the two sisters, Vijeta.
